New product love!

Okay so I LOVE makeup! LOVE! I don’t always get to do it, but I love trying new things & experimenting when I do. But I’m also obsessed with my skin. So I want to share with you what I do, in the morning, and at night for my skin.

So in the morning, after I shower, I ALWAYS wash my face. I use Philosophy face wash, and then I can not go without putting moisturizer on. You guys I went two weeks without moisturizer, just because I kept forgetting to pick some up. Two weeks was waaaaaaay too long. My skin started to get red around my nose area after washing & not applying moisturizer. My skin also began to burn, so I could tell I was getting super dry! So finally my husband was going to the store & I researched some new moisturizer. I asked him to pick me up some.

Now I was using a 25$ moisturizer, and this new one was like 7$! 7!!! I was alittle nervous trying cause you just never know. Well I LOVE it. It’s very very similar to the 25$ one I was using.

I do the same thing at night. I wash my face, regardless if I wore makeup or not. Then I moisturize. After I do all of that, I moisturize my lips! I usually use Chapstick, but I’m trying some lip moisturizer from Victoria Secret. Loving it.

The redness in my face has not shown up since I started using this. It has not caused one break out. I have Normal to Dry skin. So if you are looking to try a new inexpensive face moisturizer, then you have to try this!

Positivity ❤️

So where do I begin. As you may have seen in my Cancer sucks post, my grandmother has stomach cancer. She will live with it the rest of her life, unless it’s is now small enough to remove by surgery. She takes chemo shots every month, and as you can imagine, those are extremely expensive. Well, we have just found out that my mom, had a lump on her chest. She went to the doctor this week to have a biopsy, and should hear sometime next week what the results are. If cancerous, she will have to see a dermatologist & then go from there. Cancer has affected our family before, unfortunately. The first would be our adopted family, The Grays. My grandmother kept both of their kids from newborn until it was time to start school. So they are basically family. We love them as family. Both parents are full time school teachers & a big part of the town I grew up in. Mrs. Gray was diagnosed with breast cancer, and did amazing. She is now a survivor! It’s been atleast 4 years, I believe. Praise the good Lord! Then my grandmother, and now a chance of my mother. We are staying positive about it because we know it’s possible it’s not cancerous. But that doesn’t mean the chances of it being aren’t super real. We’ve learned to be positive. And we will continue to be regardless of what’s thrown our way. The Lord has this. We just need to trust him. He has proven miracles happen. With Mrs. Gray, beating cancer. My grandma was told her tumor would probably never shrink, but it has, tremendously. So we will pray & wait. Then move on in the way we need to come whatever. If you believe in the power of prayer, please say a prayer for us. If you don’t, positive vibes are appreciated!! 😘

That was heavy. So now on to a not so heavy subject, y’all I did my makeup this morning. My hair, well, it’s still in a ponytail. But I seriously need it cut! I got up early, determined to do my makeup atleast before my children woke up. I accomplished that, pretty much. Half way through my 3 year old woke up. That’s okay cause he pretty much entertains himself. He just wanted to use the potty & have some milk!🍳🍞🍶

Hoping you are having a great day! Until next time!

Thoughts 💭

So I’m laying here in bed, its 11:15 pm where I live. I know I need to go to sleep because my almost 6 month old will be up to eat at 6:30 & then I’ll be up for the day after she goes back to sleep. Anyways, I was just laying here thinking, I want to do my hair & makeup tomorrow. Not that I don’t do alittle something every day. I usually put concealer on to cover my dark circles & put my hair in a mom bun. Oh, sorry, if you didn’t know, I’m a stay at home mom. So this is my day to day look usually. Only on occasions do I really get to do a full face of makeup & fix my hair. Well because frankly, my children & their needs are way more important. BUT sometimes I want to feel pretty. I know as Moms, we can lose our identity every now & again. So we have to take some time for ourselves. If that means, a pedicure, going to target without kids, or just a simple bath. But sometimes it just means, doing our hair & makeup just to make ourselves feel better! Under our mom gear, we are beautiful humans. We just need to remind ourselves of that!!!! It’s different hearing it from your spouse or family, YOU have to believe it too! So go love ya self, girl!!!!

Im gonna doll myself up tomorrow (hopefully😂)

I’m ridiculous tired, so this may not make any sense whatsoever.Nighty night, y’all.
